Home, Away and Training Sponsorship Available | On loan from Sheffield United until 2nd January 2021
Ashton joined The Lions on 6th October 2020 and made his debut from the bench the same night in a 4-0 win over Blyth Spartans.
Young Sheffield United defender Ashton Hall has joined The Lions on loan until 2nd January 2021. The centre-back, who plays in The Blades Development Squad, is a versatile defender who is confident on the ball.
He joined the Bramall Lane side in the summer of 2019 after attracting scouts to watch him play for Matlock Town. His form after he broke into Matlock Town’s first team saw him have trials with Sheffield United and Leeds United.
Ashton maintains the close link between Sheffield United and Guiseley which has already seen Marcus Dewhurst, George Cantrill and Harrison Sheppeard play for The Lions.
He had a taste of Lions’ life when he played as a trialist in the pre-season win away at Chesterfield.
Ashton’s loan spell came to an end of 2nd January 2021 after he made two appearances, both from the bench, or Marcus Bignot and Russ O’Neill’s side. Hall returned to Sheffield United with our best wishes for the future.
