Guiseley AFC Academy came back from a goal behind to draw 1-1 when they visited Chester on Wednesday, writes Rachel O’Connor.
This point in the National League Under-19 Alliance North Division comes on the back of a 3-1 home win over Solihull Moors in a game played at Marley Stadium.
In the Solihull game goals came from Danyaal Khan, Oli Storr and Denelle Godfrey.
Lewin Storton struck in the second-half of the Chester game to earn the Young Lions a point in what was their seventh league game of the season.
They have won three, drawn two and lost two. They have scored ten goals and conceded eight in the league.
They had a good run in the early rounds of the FA Youth Cup winning four games before being knocked out 2-0 away to Chester-le-Street.
Prior to that they had defeated Worsborough 4-0, Tadcaster Albion 10-0, Gainsborough Trinity 7-0 and Hartlepool 2-1.
Leading scorers are: Danyaal Khan 10, Jack Mason 7, K’Marni Miller 3.
The Academy’s next game is due to be a home clash with Blyth Spartans on Friday, December 8th, at Nethermoor Park with a 2pm kick-off.
