This Sunday, Guiseley Vixens take on mid-table Nottingham Forest Ladies in a repeat of matchweek one.

In that game, the Vixens were unlucky and were narrowly beaten one-nil from a goal early in the first half from Hazzana Parnell.

Forest currently sit in seventh place picking up fourteen points from ten games and most recently lost 3-2 to Derby County Ladies.

Ahead of the fixture, manager Glen Preston voiced his thoughts:

“This weekend will be a good test for us. The first time we played them was close and we felt disappointed to not have brought the points home with us.

“We’re looking forward to it and it’s a good opportunity to see how the new players will fair against a higher standard opposition in a game which we know we have the ability to win.”

The game will take place at Fleet Lane with entry being £4, £1 cons and FREE to GAFC Season Ticket holders. Kick-off is scheduled for 2:30 PM.
