Tonight, Guiseley Vixens travel to Middlesbrough for their fifth FAWPL game of the 2017/18 season.

‘Boro currently sit third in the league, have lost only one game this campaign and are level on points with first place Huddersfield. They come into the game off the back of a 4-0 win at home to bottom of the league, West Brom.

Guiseley will be hoping to secure their first win in the league this season after they picked up their first point against Stoke City Ladies at the weekend in a hard battled 3-3 draw.

Manager Glen Preston said: “I love midweek games.

“They always provide entertainment, I like the night-time and they have a good atmosphere. They usually draw bigger crowds so bring it on!”
