5 minutes later a pinpoint corner from Kerrie Zserdicky was met by a far post header from Aimi Beresford which left the Tranmere goalkeeper helpless.
Guiseley continued to press but were denied by several good saves until Shauna Legge forced the ball goalwards and a Tranmere defender did well to preventbthe ball crossing the goal-line but Becky Kendell was on hand to score from close range to give Guiseley a 3-0 halftime lead.
At the start of the second half another accurate corner from Tanya Rich caused havoc in the Tranmere area and the ball was lashed home by Emily Maguire.
Guiseley continued to dominate and scored the fifth and final goal when substitute Caroline Hulme scored with an excellent far post header after a cross from Lou Hunt.
The win kept Guiseley in second place in the league and they look forward to continuing their good form after Christmas.
