We can confirm that Scott Smith and Tabish Hussain have both signed loan deals away from Nethermoor Park. 

Scott Smith’s loan at Matlock Town has been extended for a further month until 12th October 2019 after the midfielder impressed during his initial loan.

Former boss Steve Kittrick has used Smith regularly with the 20 year-old becoming popular with the Gladiators faithful, his side sit second in the Bet Victor Northern Premier division and are unbeaten after six games.

Matlock also name former Lions Jack Rea and Spencer Harris in their squad.

Meanwhile Tabish Hussain has joined Yorkshire Amateur until 9th October.

Hussain is heading out on his first loan to build up his experience of mens football and joins the Tool Station Northern Counties Premier Division side who are fourth in the league after four games.

There is a familiar face at The Ammers for Tabish with Niall Heaton having joined in the summer, they also have former Guiseley players Luke Sharry, Ryan Serrant, Steve Smith and Leon Henry in their squad.
