Guiseley AFC can announce that Simon Ainge has joined Luton Town permanently, following his initial loan spell.

Simon, who was captain at Nethermoor for a number of seasons, joins the Kenilworth Road outfit after the clubs successfully agreed a fee, which will remain undisclosed.

Club secretary Adie Towers said: “It’s a win-win situation for all involved. We get a good fee for Simon, Luton get a quality player and Simon gets the chance to play full-time, at a higher level.”
