Having only played three games in the last three months the Reserves were back in action during the week winning 3-1 at Wakefield in a Lancashire League game with goals from Liam Robinson bagging a brace and also setting up the third for Will Knight.
They followed that with the 5-1 demolition of Eccleshill United Reserves in a League Cup tie played at Esholt Sports Club earlier today, the first goa coming from a spot kick: P1070336
The game had to be played today at the Leagues insistence or the Reserves were in danger of being expelled from the League, which perhaps ought to trigger some introspection amongst league officials.
The Lions reward is another trip to Wakefield in the next round who coincidentally are the visitors to Nethermoor next Saturday for a League game. The Reserves remaining league fixtures are:
