Kallan joined the club on 20th December 2022 having played under Paul Phillips and Kayde Coppin at Matlock Town earlier on in the 2022/23 campaign.

Murphy was born in Wexford, Ireland and travelled to England in 2020 to join Chesterfield’s academy.

Forward Murphy played all his youth football in Ireland with his local club Enniscorthy Town.

Kallan has also played for Clipstone FC.

On 4th August 2023 it was confirmed that Kallan had signed a new contract with the club for the 2023/24 season.

On 12th June 2024 it was announced that Murphy left the club to sign for Marine, Kallan made 42 appearances hitting eight goals in the 2023/24 season.
