Jack joined the club on 6th August 2026, just two days before the 2026/27 campaign, he made his debut on the opening day of the season.

The defender is well known to Ian Richards having played under him at Stocksbridge Park Steels where he spent the five years before leaving at the end of the 2025/26 season.

Jack started his career with Brighouse Town before making the move to South Yorkshire.

Whilst with the Steels he played nearly 200 times and helped his side gain promotion to the Pitching In Northern Premier League Premier Division.

Tinker signed for Liversedge before the 2026/27 season but the chance to play under Ian Richards at a higher level proved too tempting for the defender.

When speaking to Liversedge Jack said “It was a difficult decision to leave a club I’ve been at for so long. I’ve made many memories and some great friends so it wasn’t easy. I’ve learnt a lot at Stocksbridge playing under Ian.”
