Abimbola joined the club on 1st January 2024 and made his full debut that afternoon at Bradford (Park Avenue) in a 1-0 win.

Obasoto has previously played under Andy Welsh at Bury but left the club earlier in the 2023/24 season to sign for Radcliffe.

The winger racked up over 40 appearances during the 2022/23 season for the Shakers scoring 13 times and getting 11 assists as Bury AFC went on to win the NWCFL Division One North title.

Obasoto can operate on either wing and is an exciting player with pace to burn having also represented Macclesfield and Clitheroe after spending time in Morecambe’s youth set up alongside his brother Abiola.

Abimbola left the club on 13th February 2024 for an opportunity abroad.
