Martin was a prolific scorer with Brighouse Town during the 19/19 season netting 30 goals in 42 games when he also had 11 assists to his name.

A very popular player with Brighouse he picked up the Player-of-the-Year award as well as Top Goalscorer and Player’s Player-of-the Year in his first season with them.

From the age of eight Martin was with Sheffield United before moving on to the Barnsley Academy at the age of 12 and then later returning to The Blades.

The 6ft tall Sheffield-born player, 27, joined Staveley Miners Welfare at the age of 17, spending a season there before moving on to Worksop Parramore.

Martin then spent a season at Goole AFC before moving to Sheffield FC for a five year spell before he joined Brighouse Town.

Aaron departed the club for Harrogate Town on 16th March 2020 after scoring 17 goals in 23 appearances for the club and being our top scorer since the 2019/20 campaign began.

A Spokesman for Guiseley AFC said: “Unfortunately, despite the club making several offers to extend Aaron’s contract over the last few months his wish has always been to play full time football. The club has accepted a five figure offer for Aaron and we wish him all the best for the rest of his career.”
