We are delighted to confirm that defender Ben Parker has signed up for the 2014-15 Conference North campaign.
The former Leeds United full-back was one of Mark Bower’s first signings at the club and has impressed at both left-back and centre-back since arriving at Nethermoor.
Ben played 30 times for the Lions in his debut season and his signature follows on from the permanent signing of Adam Boyes on Monday.
Mark was delighted to secure the 26-year-old for what will be a first full campaign with the club for both, while also revealing the interest he had to fend off in order to sign Ben.
“Ben had lots of offers and interest from other clubs but we’re delighted he’s decided to stay with us,” he said.
“He feels there is a sense of unfinished business after the way last season ended and is determined to help us go one better this time. His qualities on the pitch are obvious and he’s a real vocal presence and a leader in the changing room as well.”
Ben is now available for player sponsorship
