Ollie Brown Signs A New Lions Contract

We are delighted to announce that Ollie Brown has signed a new contract to keep him at Nethermoor for the 2025/26 campaign.

The 22 year-old defender made 47 appearances last season and also scored his first goals for the club. His first senior strike came in the last minute of a 2-1 away win at Whitby Town.

Brown doubled his tally in the first away game of 2025 at Workington’s Borough Park in a 2-0 victory.

The popular academy graduate defender, who can also play in midfield, will be entering his fifth campaign with the first team after working his way through the Young Lions set up.

Such was was his leadership qualities the player captained the academy side for many games, including a famous FA Youth Cup win at Bolton Wanderers.

Ollie left the club in 2022 to join Alfreton Town, whilst with the Reds he had a loan spell with Atherton Collieries but was soon tempted back to Nethermoor.

Recently he won the Young Player of the Season award, for the second time, becoming the first person to do so.

Brown spoke of his pride of playing for the club during his speech and many will be thrilled to see him pulling on a Guiseley shirt once again next season.

Thank you to Geesyub Kim who has once again agreed to sponsor Brown’s home kit next season. The South Korea based fan made the trip over to Nethermoor in March and met Ollie who thanked him for his support. Ollie’s Dad and Uncle Mark have also renewed their sponsorship of Ollie’s away and training kits for next season , we than them for their continued support.
