In addition to the good news off the field regarding key signings, the playing surface at Nethermoor is undergoing a major upgrade.

The work has been carried out in order to try and ensure that the raft of postponements experienced last season is not repeated.

Additional drains have been installed, together with a new multi-layer sub-surface in order to provide the best possible surface for Mark Bower’s side. The pitch has now been leveled and seeded ahead of our pre-season friendlies, which get underway against Bradford City on July 12th.
