We are delighted to announce that Kofi Moore has returned to the club and that Abimbola Obasoto has signed in time for our New Year’s Day clash at Bradford (Park Avenue).
17 days after being recalled by parent club Oldham Athletic Kofi Moore has returned on loan until the end of the 2023/24 campaign.
The 19 year-old winger made four appearances in his first weather disrupted loan spell with the club before the Latics drafted the exciting player into their matchday squads.
Moore’s last appearance came at Ilkeston at the end of November where he made his full debut and bagged an assist in a convincing 4-1 away victory.
Welcome back Kofi!
Joining the club is winger Abimbola Obasoto with the winger having left Radcliffe after a spell with Bury.
The 21 year-old racked up over 40 appearances last season for the Shakers scoring 13 times and getting 11 assists as Bury AFC went on to win the NWCFL Division One North title.
Obasoto can operate on either wing and, similar to Kofi, is an exciting player with pace to burn having also represented Macclesfield and Clitheroe after spending time in Morecambe’s youth set up alongside his brother Abiola.
The winger was a key player under Andy Welsh at former club Bury and has now reunited with his old manager at Nethermoor.
Welcome to Guiseley Abimbola!
Both Kofi and Abimbola are eligible to face Bradford (Park Avenue) at the Horsfall Stadium this afternoon.
Kofi and Abimbola’s home, away and training kits are all available to sponsor.
Meanwhile we can confirm that Courtney Meppen-Walters has joined Nantwich Town on loan for a month whilst Josh Ashman has returned to Nethermoor following his temporary switch to Belper Town.
Meppen-Walters will gain vital minutes and match sharpness whilst with the Dabbers having made five appearances for the Lions so far this season having signed permanently in the summer.
Good luck Courtney!
Ashman started all of Belper’s games during his one month stay in Derbyshire and has returned to Nethermoor following the end of his loan spell.
Welcome back Josh!
