The club are pleased to confirm the lots and raffle prizes for the forthcoming charity auction on October 4th.
To be held at 7pm at the club after the home match with Tamworth, the event will see all proceeds go to Royal Bolton Hospital ICU in memory of Paul Robert Drench – father of our goalkeeper Steven.
As well as the auction, raffle tickets are available for £1 while there will also be live music and supper, with tickets for the latter on sale for just £3.
Joe Dunwell of The Dunwells band, soon to be providing support to James Blunt at Leeds Arena, has been confirmed to perform solo. Joe has travelled the UK and the USA extensively with his band and has appeared at big festivals in the USA such as Red Rocks, Bonaroo and Lollapalooza as well as appearing on the Jay Leno Show.
In this country, the band staged their own show at Leeds Town Hall, played live on the BBC’s Andrew Marr Show, are regulars on the Bob Harris radio show and have just finished a UK tour which launched their new EP ‘Show Me Emotion’.
Support will be provided by 16 year-old singer/songwriter Ellie Holmes. Ellie was a finalist in this year’s Rock The House competition in which MPs nominate their representatives and the winners get to play in the Houses of Parliament. Ellie reached the final staged at the legendary London venue The Bedford.
Below is a list of items we have for both the raffle and the auction, although we hope to receive further donations in due course. If you wish to donate or make a bid on any auction prizes, please contact community@guiseleyafc.co.uk
