We are delighted to announce the signings of Kofi Moore and Jake Forshaw on loan from Oldham Athletic.
The duo arrive from the Vanarama National League Latics on loan until the end of the season and are eligible for tomorrow afternoon’s trip to FC United of Manchester.
Kofi has previously spent time out gaining experience with Workington since the start of the campaign and came off the bench for the Reds in Saturday’s seven goal thriller at Nethermoor.
Moore is a 19 year-old winger who earned a senior contract with Oldham in the summer and played in the first team’s friendly at Hyde United in July.
The energetic player joined Workington in July and was due to remain with them until January but he was recalled from that loan this week to link up with Andy Welsh at Guiseley.
The Cumbria Crack reported that the midfielder had “made a good impression in his time at Borough Park.” They described him as “sharp and lively, with an eye for goal.”
Also joining the club is striker Jake Forshaw who signed a senior deal with alongside Moore in the summer.
Forshaw has already spent time away from Boundary Park with loans at Colne and Farsley already under his belt this season.
The 19 year-old played alongside Moore in Oldham’s U18 side last season and scored 34 goals in 36 matches.
Jake is a physical centre forward who holds up the ball well and has pace to run in behind.
Welcome to Guiseley Kofi and Jake!
Kofi and Jake’s home, away and training kits are all available to sponsor.
