Guiseley were hit with a last-gasp goal to knock them out of the FA Cup at Holker Street.
The Lions began well, passing the ball confidently, but it was the hosts who had the best chance of the half early on.
Steven Drench saved superbly after a long-range Barrow effort took a deflection for what was the only real chance of the first half, aside from the odd corner for each side.
Barrow started the second half the stronger and threatened with a free-kick, while James Walshaw missed a golden opportunity and Nicky Boshell hit the bar with a header.
It was in the 93rd minute that the dream died for the Lions, when Garry Hunter smashed a 35-yard rocket into the top corner after a ball was only half-cleared by the Guiseley defence.
