Ladies recruit two and are keen for more

Guiseley Ladies have made two new signings this month and are looking for more new faces.

Guiseley Ladies' Sarah Dickens

Striker Caroline Hulme has joined from Wakefield Ladies FC. She made a fantastic start for the Ladies on Sunday, scoring a hat trick against Hessle Town. Midfielder Lindsey Hopton has also joined from Wakefield Ladies FC. In addition, the club are happy to announce the signing of 16-year-old Sarah Lawn, who still plays at Batley Girls FC. She’s keen to develop her talent at Guiseley and to make the transition into open-age women’s football. She’s already shown that she’s a talent and a valued addition to the squad.

The Ladies are currently recruiting for the 2011/12 season in all positions. Anyone interested please contact Team Manager Phil Riley at phil.riley@leeds.gov.uk. Training is every Wednesday evening on the 3G at Guiseley AFC, 7-9 pm. The Ladies compete in the North East Premier League. Matches take place every Sunday afternoon, with home games played at Nethermoor.
