Guiseley AFC would like to issue the following update in regards to ground developments and also the effect of these on our capacity for the pre-season friendlies.
Work to erect the roof at the railway end of the ground started a couple of weeks after the final game of the season and was scheduled to be completed by 8th July for the Harrogate Town friendly. However the project has run into some slight delays and additional costs, the expected completion date is now mid August.
Due to this, the ground capacity for our friendlies against Harrogate Town on Tuesday 8th July, Leeds United XI on Saturday 19th July and a yet to be announced friendly on Saturday 2nd August will be limited to 2500 with the Railway End being closed to standing spectators.
Tickets for the Harrogate Town and Leeds United XI fixtures can be purchased below, purchasing in advance would be appreciated so we can gauge the potential attendance and plan accordingly. Payment can still be made on the day for both fixtures however subject to demand we may put a limit on this closer to Matchday.

In further ground development news, a new catering unit will be added to Nethermoor adjacent to turnstiles 3 and 4.
We are thankful to Guiseley AFC Supporters’ Club who have supported the unit by covering the cost of the catering equipment needed for it. The funding has come from their 1909 Club scheme where you can win £100 per month by donating as little as £2. If you’d like a chance to win find full entry details here.
The new unit will replace the burgers and beer pop up stall which the Raise the Roof team ran to help fund the new covered terrace.
This development will take place once the roof at the Railway End is completed in order to minimise disruption within the ground and more updates will be provided in due course.
