Eastwood for sale after being denied place in play-offs

Having failed to overturn a decision by the Conference that their Coronation Park ground does not meet the required criteria to stage an end of season play-off Eastwood owners and directors Rob Young and Tony Minnis  have put the club up for sale at a nominal £1.

The reason for the decision by the Conference ,which was ratified by the FA  in rejecting the Badgers appeal,  seems to hinge on the location of seated accommodation which is spread across several parts of the ground.  Even though they have the required number of seats it seems that to be compliant these should only be in one or two locations.

The decision leaves Town in limbo until next season and it will be interesting to see what their reaction is when they visit Nethermoor for the last BSN League game of the season on Saturday 30 April.
