We are delighted to announce that academy prospects Brad Wood and Oliwier Grzelak have signed first team forms after impressing for the Young Lions.
Brad and Oliwier are both available for selection in Danny Ellis’ first team squads starting with the trip to Macclesfield tomorrow in the Isuzu FA Trophy.
Brad, who is in his second season with the academy, is a striker who joined Dave Currie’s side after a spell at Leeds United for the previous two campaigns.
Wood has scored several goals already over the two seasons and took part in some pre-season training sessions with the first team.
The striker was used as a second half substitute in the West Riding County Cup tie against Horbury Town.
Also signing first team forms is Oliwier Grzelak who moved to the UK with his family from Poland when he was 15 years old.
The central midfielder played for MUKS CWZS Bydgoszcz academy programme which is highly regarded in his homeland.
Oliwier was also used as a second half substitute in the West Riding County Cup against Horbury Town.
Congratulations Brad and Oliwier!
