Guiseley face Brackley Town at Nethermoor Park in the FA Trophy this Saturday, and they will be hoping to add to their recent cup successes.
The two sides, who are both in-form in the league and occupy two of the top three places, will be hoping to gain this victory in the Trophy as well, and that a trip to Wembley could be on the cards if the draw is kind to them.
Guiseley will be keen to get back to winning ways after the 3-3 draw with Worcester City on Tuesday, with Manager Steve Kittrick saying, “We haven’t played Brackley yet this season so it will be an interesting game”.
Brackley gained promotion last season from the Southern League Premier Division as Champions and have taken the Blue Square Bet North by storm.
The Saints currently sit top of the table following a great spell of form that has included an unbeaten run of six matches in all competitions.
Their last match in the League saw them beat Stalybridge Celtic 4-1 at home.
The Lions’ next games at Nethermoor are a local derby against FC Halifax in the Blue Square North on Tuesday 27th November, and Histon on Saturday 8th December.
