Amissah Makes It A Fab Four For Guiseley

We are delighted to announce our fourth signing of the day is goalkeeper Jordan Amissah on loan from Sheffield United.

The stopper played in our friendly with Leeds United last month and Russ O’Neill and Marcus Bignot have moved to secure the 20 year-old’s services until 16th September.

The keeper, who can represent either Germany or Ghana at national level, started his youth career with SV Holsterhausen Herne before moving to Schalke and Borussia Dortmund.

Jordan signed for The Blades at the same time as former Lion Harrison Sheppeard and continues our good relationship with the Championship side.

Marcus Dewhurst and George Cantrill also initially joined us on loan from Sheffield United during the 2018/19 season.

Amissah is a tall ‘keeper with a big presence and has excellent shot stopping ability which he will be putting to the test in the opening game of the National League North season on Saturday against AFC Fylde, get your tickets here.

We’d like to thank Flatcap Creative for their sponsorship of Jordan’s home kit, you can still sponsor his away and training kits – find out how here.

Welcome to Guiseley Jordan!
