Guiseley host Altrincham this Tuesday in the Blue Square Bet North and they will hope to gain another three points following their win at Moss Lane earlier this season.
Currently both sides occupy the play-off places, with the Lions second in the table and Altrincham fifth, although Guiseley currently lie eighteen points clear of their opponents and arrive off the back of three wins on the bounce, a Josh Wilson penalty just before half-time securing victory over Solihull Moors on Saturday.
Talking about the forthcoming match, Guiseley Manager Steve Kittrick said: “Altrincham want to get into the play-offs and it will be a tough game, we will have a completely different game plan compared to our game against Solihull Moors.”
Last season Guiseley drew 2-2 at Altrincham and gained all three points with a 3-2 win at Nethermoor. Their 3-1 victory at Moss Lane in October came courtesy of an overhead kick by Nicky Boshell and two late strikes from James Walshaw.
Following this game, the Lions will travel to Stalybridge Celtic on Saturday and then face another tough away task at Gainsborough Trinity on Easter Saturday, 30th March.
Admission on Tuesday is £10 for adults, £6 for concessions and £4 for 12-to-16 year-olds, and kick-off is at 7.45 pm.
