Lebrun signed for The Lions on 29th September 2020 on the eve of the new season after a spell on trial.

The midfielder impressed in pre-season games, including notching the only goal in the opening friendly win at Thackley.

Mbeka, from Rotherham, started his career with Sheffield FC and played for Tadcaster Albion, who he joined in 2019 after rising through the ranks with firstly Ossett Albion and then the amalgamated Ossett club, United.

Prior to that he had a dual registration with Goole and Parkgate.

Lebrun featured in all of our pre-season friendlies ahead of the 20/21 campaign and in the behind closed doors training match held between two Guiseley sides giving Joint Managers Marcus Bignot and Russ O’Neill a good impression to earn a contract.

On 9th June 2022 it was confirmed that Lebrun Mbeka had left the club to sign for Boston United.

The versatile player who slotted in at several positions during his time at Nethermoor brought to an end his three season stay in LS20.

On 27th September 2022 it was confirmed that Lebrun had returned to the club for his second spell on loan from Boston United, the utility player started the same night at Gainsborough.

On 31st October 2022 Lebrun was recalled from his loan by Boston United, the utility player made seven appearances and scored one goal in his second spell with the club.

On 6th June 2024 it was announced that Mbeka had returned to Nethermoor for third spell with the club.

Of his return Lebrun said “I am coming home, back to where I belong”
