Guiseley Academy notched up their sixth win in 10 games when they visited Boston United in the National League Under-19 Alliance on Wednesday. They have also drawn two games.
The Young Lions showed a battling spirit after playing with ten men for the majority of the second-half after defender Freddie Westfall unfirtunately picked up a second yellow card.
In the first-half Danyaal Khan netted his ninth goal in nine games with a brave header. The other goal came from Kyle Burrows, his second of the season, as he continues his recovery from an injury sustained whilst playing for the first team in the County Cup game against Ilkley Town. The winning strike came after good work from Jack Mason before 16 year old debutant Robbie Murray whipped in a pinpoint cross that the full back got on the end of.
