We are delighted to announce the signing of Jamie Spencer for his third spell with the club.
The central midfielder is a familiar face to manager Mark Bower and Danny Boshell having worked with them at Bradford (Park Avenue) in two spells.
He first moved to Nethermoor before the 2019/20 season and made 23 appearances before departing for Spennymoor Town following the campaign being cut short.
Spencer then returned to LS20 for the 2021/22 season where he made another 24 appearances for the club.
The 27 year-old then returned to the Horsfall to work with Bower and Danny Boshell once again before suffering an ACL injury which forced him to miss most of the 2023/24 season.
After spending some of the summer working with the first team squad at Nethermoor as part of his injury rehabilitation process Jamie signed for Pontefract Collieries, he made 15 appearances but departed the Colls in December.
Spencer came through Huddersfield Town’s academy where he captained the U18 side before progressing to the U23s.
He is a tough central midfielder who was a crucial part of our team during his previous two spells with the club.
Jamie is available for selection in this afternoon’s clash with Lancaster City and Pickerings Lifts have sponsored his home, away and training kits for the campaign.
Welcome back Jamie!
