Guiseley Community Foundation and the Football Club as a whole have received a letter of thanks from the Otley Food Bank Administrator Margaret Turner for all the donations made in our Christmas Food Bank Appeal.

This year we split the donations between Otley Food Bank and Aireborough Children’s Centre and we have received the following letter of thanks from Otley Food Bank:

“On behalf of the Food Bank in Otley I would like to sincerely thank all the supporters, players and staff of Guiseley Football Club and its Community Foundation for the amazing collection of food for Otley Food Bank.”

“We do sincerely appreciate the support that Guiseley Football Club’s Community Foundation has given us since the Food Bank opened in December 2013 and all the collection will give those who access the Food Bank a really wonderful Christmas with all the goodies you have so generously donated. We are sending out Christmas parcels with the ordinary parcels in the run up to Christmas so the luxury goods you kindly collected and donated will give vulnerable members of our community a welcome surprise at this holiday period.”

“We would like to wish everyone at the club a really happy Christmas and every blessing for the coming New Year.”
