Guiseley claimed a deserved point at the Launa Windows Stadium on Saturday, Exodus Geohaghon’s close-range finish cancelling out Liam Dickinson’s opener.
In a first half largely dominated by the visitors, Zac Thompson struck the post with a free-kick before the midfielder was brought down inside the area.
Dickinson tucked home his first goal of the season from the spot only for Geohaghon to level – converting from close-range after the Lions failed to clear a deep delivery.
Torquay came into the game after the break but still Guiseley had chances, Wayne Brooksby striking the post after a tricky run down the right.
However, Mark Bower’s side had to make do with a point ahead of the visit of Woking to Nethermoor on Saturday.
