Special offer for Grimsby game

After the Lions were drawn away to Grimsby Town in the FA Cup Fourth Round Qualifying, the club have been quick to create a special offer for fans who travel to Blundell Park and get behind the lads.

Fans who make the trip to Grimsby on October 25th, via the supporters’ club coaches or individually, will be given a £5 voucher to use for any Guiseley home league game.

Vouchers can be used to gain reduced admission for any home game in the Vanarama Conference North while season ticket holders will be able to use them at Nethermoor’s refreshment kiosks.

If our fans are given tickets on entry at Blundell Park, these can be used as vouchers but, if not, the supporters’ club will hand out their own vouchers to use.

Club CEO Adie Towers said: “Mark and the lads always appreciate the fantastic travelling support we get all over the country and want to reward our fans who make the trip to Grimsby.

“It’s obviously a massive game in our season and we hope as many of our supporters as possible can make it and get behind the team.”

Grimsby currently sit in 11th position in the Conference, a division they have played in since departing the football league in 2010.  The winning team will enter the draw for the First Round proper, alongside clubs from the Football League’s League One and League Two divisions.

As a result of the draw, the league match against Solihull Moors that was previously scheduled for this date will now take place on Tuesday 18th November (7:45pm kick-off).

In further fixture news, we can confirm that our away fixture against Selby Town in the next round of the West Riding County Cup will take place on Tuesday 28th October, unless a draw between Guiseley and Grimsby calls for an FA Cup replay on that night.

The full first team fixture list can be viewed on the website. Travel to Grimsby will leave Nethermoor at 11am, with details on the Supporters’ Club website.
