Guiseley kick off the season at Nethermoor this Saturday (17th) and will hope to get off to a winning start in the Skrill North.
It has been a busy pre-season for the Lions who hosted Bradford City and Huddersfield Town, with these returning a 4-0 defeat and a 2-2 draw respectively.
Away victories at Ossett Albion, Brighouse Town, Barnsley and Wakefield FC not only improved fitness levels but also gave the team some confidence going into the new campaign, before pre-season ended with a 1-0 defeat away at Farsley Celtic.
The close-season has also seen a number of trialists join the squad including Adam Priestley, Kyle Harrison, Izzy Johnson, Spencer Harris and James Burgess while Craig Hobson has also signed from Stockport County.
Saturday’s opponents Solihull Moors are currently managed by former QPR defender Marcus Bignot and will be looking to build on their ninth place last season.
Moors caused Guiseley problems last season as the Lions lost 2-0 at Damson Park before edging a tight 1-0 win at Nethermoor.
Admission to the game is £12 for adults, £7 for children and concessions, £4 for 12-16 year-olds and free for accompanied Under-12s.
Any young person under 16 registered with a Junior Football Club – on presentation of a copy of a registration card – can also attend free of charge.
The match is kindly sponsored by Rob Jennings.
