We have given a number of our academy players the chance to impress in pre-season and follow in the footsteps of current first team squad member Will Wells by signing a contract.

The first to sign up is 18 year-old midfielder/striker Scott Smith.

Local lad Scott joined Guiseley AFC Academy U-16s after being released by Bradford City.

He made his debut for the Guiseley Academy in the Conference Youth Alliance League match against Harrogate Town on 11th March 2015.

Scott is now in his second season with the academy.
