We are delighted to announce the signing of Simon Walton.

Former Leeds United midfielder Walton was a free agent after making 37 appearances for Crawley Town in League Two last season. His record of over 250 Football League appearances also includes stints with Plymouth Argyle, Hartlepool United and Stevenage.

The 28 year-old joins Interim Manager Adam Lockwood’s squad ahead of Saturday’s home match against Woking, wearing the number 24 shirt.
