We are delighted to announce the signing of Scott McLean on loan until the end of the season from Spennymoor Town.

Scott has signed in time to feature in this afternoon’s league trip to Southport as we look for back to back wins in the Vanarama National League North for the first time this season.

The 24 year-old Scottish forward has spent the majority of his career in his homeland with spells at Kilmarnock, Troon, Albion Rovers, Queen’s Park, Annan Athletic and Darvel before his move to the North East.

He joined The Moors in September 2020 and linked up with midfielder Jamie Spencer in his time with the Brewery Field based side, he made over 40 appearances for them and has netted three goals this season with 10 assists.

McLean made his Kilmarnock debut in a 2-2 draw with Celtic in 2015 and struck seven goals in 31 appearances with Queen’s Park.
