We can confirm that Sam Bentley has joined Liversedge on loan.
The midfielder has joined Sedge for a month to boost his fitness after missing the last few months of the campaign through injury.
Bentley came through Bradford City’s academy before joining the Lions last season where he had a loan spell with Brighouse Town.
Sam was named as the Bantams’ Academy Player of the Season at the end of the 2022/23 campaign.
Whilst with Bradford City he also had loans with Ramsbottom United and Brighouse Town.
The 21 year-old midfielder, who can also play in defence, now links up with Liversedge who are led by former Lions player and assistant manager Danny Forrest.
Forrest’s side are top of the Northern Counties East Premier Division with former Lions Ross Daly, Kyle Trenerry, Jack Stockdill and Lewis Gardner in their squad.
Bentley could play in seven games during his time at Clayborn with clashes against Albion Sports, Sheffield FC, Pickering Town, Frickley Athletic, Beverley Town, Parkgate and Golcar United to come.
