We are delighted to announce the signing of Paul Iggulden.

The centre back spent the 2024/25 campaign on loan at Stocksbridge Park Steels from Hull City.

Paul worked his way through the youth setup at Hull before his release in 2025 by the Tigers.

On his release Stocksbridge and Ian Richards moved to sign the centre back on a permanent basis after he impressed during his first campaign with the South Yorkshire club.

Speaking about working with the centre back again Richards said: “It is great to be reunited with Paul. A hard working, honest player who formed an exceptional defensive partnership with Elliot Owen at our previous club, keeping 24 clean sheets in our promotion winning season.”

“He is a player who loves to do the fundamentals of defending and keep clean sheets. He is young, hungry and ambitious to improve and get better.”

The 20 year-old played 31 times for Stocksbridge last season and racked up over 70 appearances for them in total.

During his initial loan from Hull City the defender said “Ian Richards Stocksbridge’s manager has been great with me. He’s helped me develop a lot and given me a lot of advice on dealing with certain situations.”
