Richards Makes White Addition

We are delighted to announce the signing of Kyle White who has joined the Lions following 18 months with Waterford in Ireland.

White, who is a left back and can also play in midfield, is eligible for tomorrow’s trip to Morpeth Town.

Kyle was born in Burnley and was spotted by Fleetwood Town and spent two and a half years with the Codheads making six first team appearances.

White started his career with AFC Darwen’s youth team before moving on to AFC Blackpool in 2021.

Whilst with AFC Blackpool Kyle played for both their youth and first teams before making the move to Highbury in January 2022.

He initially started out as a midfielder with Fleetwood before moving to play left back, he initially played for Town’s U18s and U21s sides where he impressed then first team manager Scott Brown.

Brown handed Kyle his professional debut in a 2-1 home win over Plymouth Argyle in League One, he also made league appearances against Bolton and Ipswich in the 2022/23 season.

During the same campaign the full back was brought on in the Carabao Cup against Everton and Wigan Athletic and Barrow in the Vertu Trophy.

White joined Fleetwood’s sister club Waterford in July 2024 having scored against them in pre-season a year earlier.

If you would like to sponsor Kyle’s home, away and training kits for the 2025/26 season please email james.pickles@guiseleyafc.co.uk.

Meanwhile we can confirm that Liam Ridehalgh has departed the club by mutual consent.

Liam has unfortunately missed the entire campaign so far through injury, whilst spending a month as interim manager back in November before the appointment of Ian Richards.

The former Bradford City, Huddersfield Town and Tranmere Rovers defender made 32 appearances last season after he joined the club in September 2024.

We’d like to thank Liam for all his efforts whilst with the club and wish him the best of luck in his recovery from injury and his future career.
