Academy striker Redmond Lee has achieved something a little bit special this season.  With his 26 goals for Dave Currie’s young Lions side, he topped the goalscorers charts in the Football Conference Youth Academy League Northern Division, helping his team to second place at the close of the season.

Now, though, we also understand that this impressive goal tally was actually the most goals scored by an individual in any of the nine Football Conference youth divisions – nine leagues that feature not only the Academy sides of all the Conference clubs, but development squads from a number of Football League and Premier League clubs too.

We’d like to congratulate Redmond, his team-mates and everyone involved with his development over the last two seasons on this great goal return, and look forward to seeing the Academy continue to go from strength to strength in the new season!
