The wait for the Lions’ first win in 2018 continues after Saturday’s 2-1 defeat at league leaders Macclesfield Town.

Rowan Liburd gave us the lead after 10 minutes with a rasping drive from the edge of the area.

However the Silkmen came out a much improved side in the second half and two goals swung the game in their favour.

Nathan Blissett levelled the tie and Tyrone Marsh’s diving header won it after 72 minutes.
