On 15th June 2022 it was announced that Spencer Harris had returned to the club for his second spell at Nethermoor.
Harris started his career at Huddersfield Town, being there from the age of five until 19. He signed his first pro contract with the Terriers and on release he went to play in Australia spending three years with Perth Balcatta FC.
Harris had racked up plenty of experience playing for Buxton, Boston United, Farsley Celtic, Bradford (Park Avenue), Hyde, Shaw Lane, Matlock and Liversedge in his career.
Spencer, who can play in defence or midfield makes ambulances for a job and has two children, a boy and a girl, and he loves watching his son, aged 8, play football. He also enjoys cricket having played for Halifax League side Mytholmroyd for many years.
On signing for The Lions Harris said: “I don’t think that the Guiseley fans really got to see what I have to offer last time I was here back in 2013/14. I only figured in about 10 games and mostly from the bench so I don’t think that they saw the best of me. I have played with Danny Ellis before and I look forward to linking up with him again. I want to be successful and I like winning things.”
On 3rd March 2023 it was confirmed that Spencer had signed a loan deal with Pontefract Collieries until the end of the season, the defender missed a chunk of the 2022/23 campaign through injury with the loan agreed to help boost his match fitness.
On 19th May 2023 it was announced that Spencer had left the club at the end of the 2022/23 campaign.
