Oliver signed first team forms on 3rd October 2020 after featuring in first team training sessions before returning for a second spell with the club on 21st July 2023.
The defender from Leeds was the captain of the youth team before his graduation to the first team. Ollie is a tough tackling player who leads by example and he is always willing to put the club and his team before himself.
Ollie played a big part in pre-season ahead of the 2021/22 campaign and was rewarded by signing first team forms on 13th August 2021.
On 25th August 2021 Ollie signed a dual registration deal with Frickley Athletic to help boost his experience of mens football.
On 9th October 2021 Ollie made his first team debut coming off the bench in our 2-0 Vanarama National League North win over Leamington.
Ollie then secured a regular place in the first team playing a number of positions including right back, left back, centre back and right wing.
On 20th June 2022 it was announced that Ollie had left the club and signed for Alfreton Town.
Things did not go exactly as he had hoped and after featuring for the Alfreton throughout pre-season he failed to make an appearance for the first team in their opening four Vanarama National League North fixtures.
He went out on an initial one month loan to Pitching In Northern Premier League side Atherton Collieries. Brown remained there for the rest of the season playing around 30 games and although he went initially as a centre-back he made an impact in midfield when asked to play there.
After being released by Bradford City at the age of 15 Brown joined Dave Currie’s Academy squad at Guiseley and made good progress captaining the side and being called up to train with the first team squad.
This came after a difficult season due to Covid when players didn’t get much game time or full training. At that time Brown played primarily as a right-back but can play anywhere across the back line.
Of his return to Guiseley Brown said: “It is great to be back. I came through the Academy, got a taste of first team football and then decided I needed to try new environments and different clubs. I now have that experience and am very happy to be back at Guiseley.
“It is a great club, as is the community around it. It feels like home, I live locally and work as a car mechanic in Yeadon.”
On 7th May 2024 it was announced that Ollie had signed a new deal with the club. The academy graduate made 39 appearances during the 2023/24 campaign.
