Striker Valsau signed first team forms on 4th March 2023 before being named on the bench for the league clash with Gainsborough Trinity at Nethermoor.
Valsau was introduced as a second half substitute in the West Riding County Cup tie with Horbury Town earlier this season.
Valsau joined the academy in 2019 after being scouted by Dave Currie at the UK Football Trials.
Miguel has previously played his football in his homeland and the Netherlands, when he moved to England he signed for Sheffield United’s development squad alongside the academy.
On 11th August 2023 Miguel signed first team forms for the 2023/24 campaign after an exciting pre-season.
On signing the forms Valsau said “I want to get as many minutes as I can in the first team. Signing a contract for the first team is a big step for me. I really enjoyed it in the Academy and played a year above my age so I am used to playing with older players and it was then not so hard as it could have been making the transition to first team football.
On 23rd August 2023 the academy graduate signed a dual registration deal with Albion Sports to boost his experience of senior men’s football.
