Former Bradford City defender Kwame Boateng signed for The Lions on 23rd February 2019 and took a place on the bench a few hours later against Alfreton Town.
Kwame spent four years in the City youth set up being in the same year as Scott Smith, Akeel Francis and Ellis Hudson.
Boateng, who made two appearances for City’s first team in the Football League Trophy in 2016-17, played against Guiseley for Harrogate Town in the County Cup.
Kwame re-signed for the club on 27th September 2022.
He played alongside Danny Ellis at Farsley Celtic and has also represented Ossett United, Albion Sports, Goole and TNS.
The full back spent the 2021/22 season with Sheffield Wednesday.
Following the end of the 2022/23 campaign Boateng left the club after making 33 appearances.
