Jonny joined the club on 12th August 2022 and made his full debut a day later against Marine in the Pitching In Northern Premier League at Nethermoor.

Jonny is a player well known to Danny Ellis having played against Guiseley’s academy several times for York.

Haase came through The Minstermen’s academy and was awarded a professional contract with the Vanarama National League side last summer.

The left back, who is known for his pace and stamina, made his senior debut back in October against Southport as a substitute, the defender has been named on the bench a few times since.

Haase featured regularly as York’s U19 team finished in third place last season.

On the signing Danny Ellis added “Jonny has impressed me whenever we’ve played York with our academy and also as a trialist for Bradford (Park Avenue) when we played them a couple of weeks ago. This signing makes our squad stronger whilst adding extra cover during a period where we have a lot of games in a short space of time, we will have to manage the squad well and he’s a great addition.”

On 9th September Jonny returned to York City following the end of his loan move.
