John joined The Lions on 28th November 2020 and made his debut that afternoon in a 2-0 defeat at AFC Telford United’s New Bucks Head stadium after signing on a dual registration deal from Ashton United.

John names Tadcaster Albion, Carlton Town and Sheffield FC among his former clubs and can operate at both full back or on the wing.

Lufudu impressed in his first few performances at right back and has remained with The Lions whilst play in the Pitching In Northern Premier League is suspended because of the Covid-19 pandemic

Following the end of the 2020/21 season John returned to Ashton United following the conclusion of his dual registration deal but then signed for Spennymoor Town.

Lufudu returned to Nethermoor on 2nd July 2024 following his departure from South Shields.

Since leaving the club Lufudu had spent two seasons at Spennymoor Town.
