James Cadman signed on 6th September 2022 and is well-known to manager Danny Ellis, having played alongside him at Harrogate Town.
Cadman, born in Rotherham, went through the Academy system at his home town club joining them at the age of six. He went through every age group at Rotherham before signing as an apprentice at 16. He achieved his dream of playing for the first team before being released.
He then joined Stalybridge Celtic before signing for Harrogate Town.
Cadman signed for Scarborough Athletic for the 2016-17 season, their last in exile in Bridlington, and has spent five years with The Seadogs.
He became an important part of their squad, playing in a number of positions, but lost his place as they started their run towards winning promotion to the National League North.
James made his Guiseley debut at South Shields on the day of his signature.
On 21st October 2022 it was announced that James Cadman had returned to Scarborough at the end of his dual registration agreement, the midfielder made eight appearances and scored on goal during his stay at Nethermoor.
