Jack joined The Lions on 3rd October 2020 and made his debut from the bench that afternoon in our 4-0 Emirates FA Cup win over Atherton Collieries.

The six foot striker has just returned to England from a two year spell in Australia with Olympia FC Warriors.

Jack had a youth career with Blackburn Rovers Academy and Preston North End before turning pro with PNE.

Whilst with The Lilywhites he had loan spells at Stalybridge Celtic, Stockport County, Morecambe and Southport before joining Bradford (Park Avenue).

He then moved north to Workington which was nearer his Barrow birthplace.

Ryan has been on trial with the club in pre-season featuring in the Stockport County, behind closed doors training match and Chesterfield friendlies with Marcus Bignot and Russ O’Neill moving quick to sign the 24 year-old.

Following the conclusion of the 2020/21 season Jack Ryan left the club and signed for Stalybridge Celtic.
