Jack joined the club on 24th February 2023 and made his full debut a day later at home to Radcliffe.

The centre back has plenty of non league experience playing for York City, Southport, Farsley Celtic, Warrington Town, Stalybridge Celtic, Ashton United, Clitheroe, Hemel Hempsted and Rushden and Diamonds.

Away from the pitch Higgins is Head of Academy at Fleetwood Town having held the role since August 2020.

On 19th May 2023 it was announced that Jack had left the club at the end of the 2022/23 campaign.
